Venkat Prabhu sings for brother Prem
Ace director Venkat Prabhu has sung a song in Adhey Neram Adhey Idam (also referred to as Athey Neram Athey Idam), which stars Jai and Vijayalakshmi (both of Chennai 600028 fame). The director agreed readily when his brother Prem G. Amaran, who composes the film’s music, requested him to sing. Venkat has sung a jaunty song penned by Na. Muthukumar, which goes ‘Namma Ooru Chennaiyile, Naal Thorum Veedhiyile, Pala Nooru Pengalai Paarthene’!

Interestingly, this is not the first time that the director is showcasing his singing talent in a film – he has already sung in Thulluvadho Ilamai, Enakku 20 Unakku 18 and Chennai 600028.
Directed by M. Prabhu, Adhey Neram Adhey Idam is a jolly feel-good film primarily targeting younger audience. It is produced by Hari Ramakrishnan for Lakshmi Pictures.
