Velai Illa Pattadhari is directed by Velraj starring Dhanush and Amala Paul in the lead roles. Saranya Ponvannan, Vivekh, Samuthirakani and Sathish will be seen in supporting roles.
The director of the film has stated that Dhanush believed in the story of the film, which is why he let him direct his 25th film. He further added that the film has all the essential elements to make it a huge hit.
Velraj said, that the two started working for Velai Illa Pattadhari when Dhanush was on a break for 10 days. He mentioned that the title of the film reflects the story. The film is slated to hit the screens on July 18.
