Ajith’s Vedalam has been rocking the youtube ever since its release yesterday. Within less that 24 hours, the teaser has received more than 36 lakh views on the video streaming site.In other words, the teaser is on ‘Therikudhu’ mode online. The 46 seconds teaser reveals the larger-than-life avatar of Ajith in the film.

Directed by Siva, the film also stars Lakshmi Menon, Shruti Haasan, Soori, Thambi Ramaiah, Ashwin Kakumanu, Kabir Singh, Rahul Dev, and Vidyullekha Raman. Produced by AM Rathnam and Aishwarya under Shri Sai Raam Creations, Anirudh composes the music while cinematography is handled by Vetri. The US distribution rights of the film have been grabbed by MM Media while Ayngaran International has bought the rest of the overseas right. Gokulraj and K.G. Nair have acquired the Karnataka and Kerala rights respectively.
