We had recently reported that actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar was roped in to play Jayaram’s wife in the Malayalam remake of Tamil film Appa. Shooting of the film titled Akasha Mittay commenced a couple of days ago in Kochi. Now, we hear that the actress has backed out of the project after a tiff with the producers. According to sources, the producers signed Varalaxmi two months back and they chose Varu for the role because she was plump, which would suit the role aptly. But, the actress had lost a considerable amount of weight and it has shocked the producers.
