Udhayanidhi keen to improve
Udhayanidhi Stalin's debut production vehicle Kuruvi was a commercial failure. The producer is keen to make make a better film in his next venture Aadhavan directed by K.S. Ravikumar. Reportedly, Udhyanidhi has not compromised on the budget in his endeavour to offset the damage of Kuruvi.
While there is the promise of the chemistry of Suriya-Nayantara, there seems to be no dearth of action scenes. On the sentimental side, the movie dwells on the father-son relationship. Incidentally, Aadhavan will be the last released movie of character actor Murali, who passed away recently.
South Africa, turning out to be a hub of Kollywood and Bollywood shooting, was the venue of the climactic fight involving Suriya and a bunch of local artistes.
Slated for a Diwali release, the movie is expected to showcase the acting and fighting prowess of Suriya. His stock is on a higher plane after the Varanam Ayiram impact on the classes and the masses.
