The shooting for Linga started at a brisk pace in Karnataka. But looks like the it will not be a smooth road ahead for this Rajinikanth starrer.
Certain groups in the state want the team to leave.They allege that Superstar Rajinkanth hurt the sentiments of all the Kannadigas through the statement he made during the Cauvery water sharing issue between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka in 2008. He supposedly stated that groups who are blocking the flow of water should be beaten up by Tamilnadu farmers. The groups are also protesting against Venkatesh, who is producing the movie.
Linga starring Rajinianth, Sonakashi Sinha and Anushka shetty in lead roles is a Tamil drama film directed by K.S Ravikumar.
