Appatakkar is an upcoming action comedy film starring Jayam Ravi, Trisha and Anjali in the lead roles. Directed by Suraj, with Thaman's music, UK Senthilkumar's cinematography and RK Selva's editing, the movie is being shot at a brisk pace.

Jayam Ravi and Trisha are pairing up for the third time and this will be Trisha's 50th movie as well. Prabhu, Soori and Vivek will also be seen in the movie.

Vivek has shaved his head for Appatakkar and Poorna is playing a cameo. This will be a comeback film for Anjali after a hiatus and the recent posters from the shooting spot of Appatakkar are doing their rounds now.
