Tamil-Telugu action hero Vishal's big budget bilingual Thoranai (Pista in Telugu), directed by Iyappan and produced by Vishal's brother Vikram Krishna under the banner of GK Films Corporation, will be simultaneously released across the screens of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh on May 29. The audio of Thoranai was recently released under the Think Music label. Music is by Mani Sharma.
Touted to be a high voltage action thriller, Thoranai marks the return of Shriya Saran in Kollywood in this big budget film. Another highlight of the film is Prakashraj, who is cast as a villain to match Vishal's muscle power.
Santhanam, Kishore and Meenakshi are also in the cast. Script is by the director himself. Priyan handles cinematography while V.T. Vijayan does the editing.
Actor Vishal and his brother Viram are taking extra efforts to ensure that Thoranai is a hit! And Vishal's needs a comeback film, especially after Sathyam. The 'V' brothers have decided to release the film only after they are completely satisfied with the final result.
Meanwhile, everyone is talking about Shriya's new look in the film which is like Kareena Kapoor's size zero in Tashan.
