Director Atlee has already clarified that he would decide on the sequel after the box office verdict. Now, Theri has already been declared as a blockbuster and has also joined the 100 Cr club. The team, we hear, is planning to work on a sequel which will narrate Vijay's relationship with his daughter. If all goes well, Vijay's daughter Divya will play his reel-life daughter in the sequel.
We hear that the Theri sequel will be Vijay's 61st film, and will go on floors after completing his ongoing project with director Bharathan.
