Shirin's sultry siren song in Poova Thalaya
Whenever one writes about Shirin, Selvaraghavan's discovery, invariably and irresistibly one is forced to use the word “celestial beauty”; such is Shirin’s beauty and complexion. And it is no wonder thatPoova Thalaya, a film made by Sanjay Ram, heavily banks on the beauty and acting skills of Sherin. Poova Thalaya is said to be a launchpad that will skyrocket Sherin’s fame. In fact, Shirin has been receiving a film offer every day after she started acting in this film, but the beautiful actress is exercising caution and not signing every film that comes her way.
Recently, a glamorous song was filmed on Shirin, which made the mercury soaron the sets of Poova Thalaya. Named aptly ‘Theekkozhi’, the song will be the highlight of this film that will definitely bring in more cheeringaudiences.
In Poova Thalaya, Shirin is paired up with Krishnakumar. The film also stars another pair – Megha Nair and Udhaya. The support cast comprises Shwetha, Kadhal Thandapani and Chaplin Balu. A newcomer, Vali, plays the villain.
Poova Thalaya, which is almost complete, is Sanjay Ram’s brainchild. Apart from writing its story, screenplay, and dialogues, he also directs and produces it. This multi-faceted personality has also written the lyrics. Music is by Peter John. Cinematography is by Leo D.
