The story of Balam

Balam, which marks the debut of TV artist Arvind Vinod as a hero, is about an unemployed youth who lives life using his wits and on his own terms. He is an expert at judging the outcome of events. He uses this skill to his advantage and wins wagers all the time. In fact, this becomes the main source of his livelihood. At one point, there is a turn of events which draw the protagonist into a quagmire. How he comes out of this using his wits forms the crux of the story.

The debut heroine, Deep Chari, is a model from Mumbai. The supporting cast comprises Suhasini, Rehman, Santhanam, Nellai Shiva, and Maya.

The film has a fast-paced screenplay and will be thrilling to watch. Director Muralikrishna said that the turn of events in the film are really interesting; the way the hero handles the issues using his wits is very thrilling. Muralikrishna is the director of Parvai Ondre Pothume and Thirudiya Idhayathai.

With this film, famous singer Malaysia Vasudevan’s son Yugendran debuts as a music director. He will also write a song for this film. It is said that Malaysia Vasudevan will also pen a song for this film.
