Music director Thaman has continuously proved his musical talent right from Sindhanai Sei in 2008. Though he entered the industry as an actor, he moved towards his passion and is now established as a music director. He also owns a music band named Thakkali.

He has now been roped in to compose the theme song for the Sunrisers Hyderabad team in the upcoming season of the Indian Premiere League (IPL). Sunrisers Hyderabad, owned by the Sun Network, had replaced Deccan Chargers as the new team in 2013.
