Tapasee bags Bollywood project

South Indian actresses have a huge demand in Bollywood these days like never before! In a span of less than 2-3 years, a bunch of regional actresses, including Genelia, Shriya, Asin, Trisha, Ileana and Kajal migrated to Bollywood. The newest entrant according to sources is ravishing Tapasee, who debuted in films with Telugu film Jhummandi Nadam and shot to fame with Kollywood film Aadukalam.

Tapasee has signed her first Hindi film to be directed by David Dhawan as the remake of yesteryear's biggest comedy flick Chashme Baddoor (1981). “Superb ugadi gift! Yes I'm doing david dhawan's movie under viacom18's production! It’s a remake of chashme baddoor. Yay!!!!” Tapasee wrote after bagging the project.

"Tapasee is something special and different from the typical assembly-line heroines. Her sex appeal lies in her freshness and innocence and that makes her perfect for the role," David Dhawan said while talking about why he chose Tapasee.

More details on this Bollywood project are awaited. Meanwhile, Tapasee is busy with two Telugu films: Mr. Perfect and Veera. She recently signed a Malayalam film as well.
