Tamizh Padam: Biggest hit of 2010

Of all the films that released during the first half of 2010, Tamizh Padam emerged as the winner. The film was an ultimate spoof on commercial mass movies that follow the same formula. Curiously titled Tamizh Padam [Tamil Movie], the movie was the directorial debut of C.S. Amudhan, who has introduced a new genre in Kollywood.

Sources close to the director say that the director is a very humorous and jovial person and what we saw in the film is just a replication! However, one person who needs special mention here is Cloud Nine's Dayanidhi Azhagiri, who took the bold decision to produce this ultimate spoof. All credit goes to Dhayanidhi Azhagiri for making this production possible!
