News about Aishwarya Dhanush's Vai Raja Vai is doing the rounds in tinsel town. Vai Raja Vai has Gautham Karthik and Priya Anand in the lead. The latest addition to the team is Taapsee doing a special performance in the film. Taapsee will be performing a cameo portion and will start shooting for her part, in February.
Taapsee says, "Some of our common friends had earlier told me that Aishwarya was interested in casting me for a small role in the film. But I was skeptical because I was not really game for any guest appearances. But when I learnt that she was confident about the script, I thought I should probably listen to it. She narrated the script to me, knowing fully well that I might even say no after that. But when I heard the role from Aishwarya's point of view, I found it was really different and interesting. It didn't take me much time to say yes, and within two days, everything was finalized."
