Sun Pictures acquires Sura

After Vettaikaaran, Kollywood's prominent production and distribution house Sun Pictures has acquired the release rights of Ilayathalapathi Vijay's forthcoming Sura. Directed by S.P. Rajakumar, this is Vijay's 50th film being made with a budget greater than any of his earlier movies. Tamannaah will be seen opposite Vijay for the first time in Sura.

Sources reveals that the actor will don the role of a fisherman in the movie. The shooting is currently progressing in Puducherry. Produced by Sangili Murugan, Sura has musical score by Mani Sharma. Cinematography is by Ekambaram of Kanthaswamy fame.
