Storm Pictures' next: Kalla Kadhalan
Storm Pictures' Naan Aval Adhu is all set to hit screens this month. Even before its release, producers Gaurav Sharma and Saurav Sharma are ready to launch their next film. Kalla Kadhalan, which is a modern day adaptation of Kamba Ramayanam visualized by the stylish director Ramya. The film explores the psyche and reasons behind the deterioration of traditional values and morals, the degradation of society in general and their repercussions on society at large.
The film has Sibiraj in the lead. This talented actor stars as a playboy; a very unique role, something that the tall and enigmatic actor has never done before on the silver screen, definitely Kalla Kadhalan!
Vishal Hegde, the Mumbai-theatre trained Kannada actor is being launched as a parallel lead in this sensuous film. His good looks and fresh appeal is sure to bring admiration from female audiences.
The film also introduces Priyanka Shah (Miss India International, Channel V Get Gorgeous winner, Zoom Levis Diva winner, celebrity PETA activist and former captain of the Indian women's net ball team) as the leading lady. Standing tall at 5'9", this super model is surely one of the most stunning débutantes of 2009 in Tamil cinema.
The theme of the movie is very provocative, a daring effort in today's movie scenario. Written and directed by Ramya, camera is handled by Srikanth and music is by R.P. Patnaik. Shooting of the film will commence from July 2009. The logo of this daringly different film will be unveiled on May 6 at Sathyam Cinemas.
