Sivamani, Benny Dayal at Nokia's anniversary celebration
"Where there's music, there can be love, passion and true spirit." Nearly 8,000 employees of Nokia India’s manufacturing plant at Sriperumbudur passed through the same experience during the terrific drum show performed by world-renowned percussionist Sivamani and his team at the company's third anniversary celebrations at Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai on Wednesday.

All the 8000 employees danced to the drum beats of the Sivamani and his team, waved glow stick lights and cheered the performers all along. During his address Sachin Saxena, factory director of Nokia India, said the five colours — red, blue, yellow, orange and green — represented the intensity of work put in by the employees, unity, performance, knowledge and excellence in production. He lauded the employees for contributing towards the growth of the company.
The celebrations were kicked off by John Britto Dance Company’s performance followed by the concert of percussionist Sivamani. The audience was also treated to various other performances, including that of playback singer Benny Dayal.

The manufacturing plant was started with 550 employees in 2006 and is one of the 9 global manufacturing facilities of Nokia.
