Simbu is Uththama Puthiran

Earlier, we have reported that director Bhoopathy Pandian's next venture will have Silambarasan playing the lead and Lingusamy will produce it. Now, the latest we hear is that the project has been titled Uththama Puthiran and will go on floors once Simbu completes K.V. Anand's Ko.

Meanwhile, Silambarasan's Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa and Lingusamy's Paiyaa are all set to clash at the box office on February 19.
