Silapathigaram in Chennai

Mediaone’s much-appreciated 'Silapathigaram', a dance, musical, fun-filled event featuring classic, folk and contemporary dance forms, will be held in Chennai at Music Academy from May 24 to 27. Notably, Silapathigaram was staged in New Zealand recently and is also scheduled for USA and Australia audiences this year end.

The organisers said this event would be a unique dance musical presentation with leading dancers of Chennai like Uma Muralidharan, Lavanya and Muralidharan, with songs composed by S. Janaki. It will also feature Madurai R. Muralidaran, Chithra Muralidaran, Priyadarshini (Sun TV fame) Binesh Mahadevan and Shivakumar. The tickets are priced at Rs.1000, Rs. 500 and Rs. 250.
