Shruti's Kannada debut: True or false?

South India's much-celebrated star kid actress-composer Shruti Haasan, daughter of legendary actor Kamal Haasan and Saarika, is surprised to read reports that she will debut in Kannada by singing in superstar Puneet Rajkumar's new film Prithvi.

"Really? This is news to me. Thanks for telling me. I’m not aware of this. Enquiries must have come in and they may be following up with my team. I’m travelling a lot these days, so I’ve no clue about it. I haven’t confirmed anything," she said. However, Shruti did not rule out the possibility of her doing the project if she is officially approached for it.

Meanwhile, it is confirmed that after scoring music for father Kamal Haasan's recent blockbuster Unnaipol Oruvan (2009), pretty Shruti Haasan will compose music for yet another film by her father. She will be the music director in K.S. Ravikumar's out-an-out commercial flick Yavarum Kelir, starring Kamal Haasan and Trisha together for the first time.
