Shirin in Kandein Kadhalai?
Shirin, who starred in Thulluvadho Ilamai, went on to do many Tamil and Kannada films. Some of her noteworthy films in Tamil were Student Number 1, Whistle and Urchagam. She also played a significant role in Bheema, which was released in 2008. The actress has also acted in the Malayalam film Harindharan Oru Nishkalangan (2007) directed by Vinayan with Jayasuriya and Inderjit in lead roles.
According to latest news reports, the actress will play the role of Tamannaah's sister in Kandein Kadhalai. This film, which has been in the making for quite some time, stars Bharath and Tamannaah in lead roles, and is a remake of Jab We Met in Hindi.
But, since Shirin is a senior actress and as she entered tinsel world earlier than Tamannaah, she might be cast as the elder sister with some changes in the script.
The Kandein Kadhalai team has completed 50% of the shoot and the film is tentatively planned for release in September. Both Tamannaah and Bharath are very excited about the project and are eagerly looking forward to complete the film as they hoped it will be well received by the youth. The film is directed by Kannan and produced by Moser Baer.
