Shamili in Kollywood?
Shamili, who became famous as baby Shamili in ace director Mani Ratnam's Anjali, is the newest heroine of Kollywood. She also made a brief appearance in Rajiv Menon's Kandukondein Kandukondein as the younger sister of Aishwarya Rai. Recently, Shamili made her debut as heroine with Oye in Tollywood opposite Siddharth. The actress is now flooded with offers from Tollywood and Kollywood. Oye is directed by Anand and music is scored by Yuvanshankar Raja.
Now, the latest we hear is that director Rama Narayanan has approached Shamili to play the lead in his upcoming Telugu-Tamil bilingual film. Director Rama Narayanan, who has directed over 100 movies in 13 Indian languages, will start shooting for the new movie during the week of May. Shamili is reportedly pursuing a film making course in Singapore.
