Sathyaraj and Sundar C. in Sakthi Chidambaram's Guru Shisyan

After Rajadhi Raja, Sakthi Chidambaram's next directorial venture is Guru Shisyan. He will also produce the movie on behalf of Cinema Paradise. Guru Shisyan has Sathyaraj, Sundar C., Vadivelu and Hemamalini in the main roles. Sathyaraj plays the guru while Sundar C. is his sishyan. The story is about how these friends part ways due to a misunderstanding and then come together again.

Vadivelu's comedy sequences in Sakthi's movies have proved to be popular, be it in Englishkkaran, Maha Nadigan or Vyapari. Guru Shisyan also promises excellent comic relief from Vadivelu. The movie is being shot presently in and around Pollachi.

Hemamalini, after her recent appearance in Indira Vizha, plays the love interest of Sundar C. in Guru Shisyan. She is also working with Jeevan in Selva's Naan Avan Illai 2.
