Sasikumar’s first cheque!
Receiving one’s first pay cheque is always an exciting and momentous event, but how many of us would preserve the cheque without cashing it? Not many! But we hear that actor-director-producer Sasikumar has his first cheque in safe keeping at his house. He just cannot bring himself to encash it. What’s even more interesting is that the cheque was given to him by actor Vikram! Confused? Well, here’s the story!
Sasikumar who acted, directed and produced Subramaniapuram, had no idea that the movie was going to be quite the blockbuster that it turned out to be. However, it appears that much before Subramaniapuram released, actor Vikram saw a spark in Sasikumar and was eager to work with him. As a sort of advance booking of Sasikumar’s directorial services, Vikram promptly handed the man a cheque – which Sasikumar hoards, adamant to retain it for sentimental reasons!
