Samida: Trailer to be released tomorrow

The trailer of Samida, the first Tamil film to be completely shot in Kasi, will be released on November 5th at 6:30 p.m. in a grand function to be held at Film Chamber. Chief guests include Abhirami Ramanathan, Kalaipuli G. Sekaran, Ramanarayanan, and Kalaipuli S. Dhanu. First, the tape containing the trailer will handed over by Ramanarayanan to Kalaipuli S. Dhanu. Following this ceremony, the trailer will be screened for the elite audience. The VIP guests to this function include the Sivasakthi Pandian, Anbalaya K. Prabhakaran, Muralidharan, and Kaja Moideen.

Samida is made with newcomers Sembi and Tanusha, who have given commendable performances. Vadivudaiyan, who had been an assistant to famous Malayalam director Shaji Kailash, has written the film’s story, screenplay, dialogues, songs, and also directs it. Srinivasa Reddy is the cameraman. Music is by Indrajith, a talented new music director in Kollywood. The audio of Samida was launched recently. The film is produced by S. Poornapriya for Creative Talkies.
