Resul Pookutty's autobiography released
Oscar winner Resul Pookutty's autobiography Sabdatharapadam (The milky way of sound) was released by Maharashtra Governor K. Sankaranarayanan in Mumbai recently. The first copies were received by Academy and Grammy Award winning musician A.R. Rahman and eminent lyricist Gulzar.
"Resul has made India proud. It's an honour to get the first copy of his autobiography. My best wishes are always with Resul for his success and would request every Indian to read his inspiring and life-stirring book," Rahman said at the event.
"The idea behind my book is my manager and friend Baiju Natarajan. He is the co-author of my autobiography, the brain behind every line framed in this book which talks about my journey from Kerala to Mumbai. It is easy to be genuine in front of the mirror but difficult in the book. Baiju supported me throughout to be honest and genuine while writing the book," Resul revealed.
