Ravi Varman debuts as director!
Ace cinematographer Ravi Varman has decided to wield the megaphone with Moscowin Kaveri, based on a true love story. Harshvardhan, son of noted noted actor and comedian Y.G. Mahendran, will debut in this film opposite another newcomer Samantha.
The trailer was just released recently; the film, supposedly shot in a very stylish manner, will be a sure shot hit with the urban multiplex audience, as it explores life in a upper middle class family. Ravi Varman was long waiting to make a debut as a director and had written this script several years ago.
The director introduces Harshvardhan and Samantha to Kollywood. When we spoke to him a couple of days back, Ravi Varman explained in detail about how he used stay up throughout the night to complete the script and screenplay and pore over the details. The director is also considering acting in the film. If that happens, it would mark the entry of another cinematographer in the field of direction and acting.
