Ramya out of Nanu Nanna Kanasu?

Golden girl Ramya has once again proved to be the controversial queen after she has been dropped from National award winning actor Prakashraj’s directorial debut Nanu Nanna Kanasu. Why was she dropped?

One version is that Ramya and producer Shylaja Nag could not agree over her remuneration, hence Ramya is no longer in the project. It is said that Ramya demanded Rs. 35 lakhs, her usual rate per movie. But the makers were ready to pay her only Rs. 16 lakhs. Even after negotiations, she preferred to opt out, stating that she did not want to compromise on her salary.

However, producer Shylaja Nag has a different version to share. He reportedly said that Ramya was removed after she behaved irresponsibly by not reporting for the shooting; her cell phone also remained unreachable when the crew tried to contact her. The makers have now roped in upcoming Kannada actress Amoolya in place of Ramya.
