Raja Mohammed: National Award winner
Raja Mohammed grabbed the attention of the jury members of the 54th National Awards with his excellent editorial skills that beautified Paruthiveeran, and they conferred him the best editor award. This, coupled with Priyamani’s National Award for best actress (for Paruthiveeran), has given a fillip to the Tamil film industry.

The talented editor is now working in Thenavettu and Aval Peyar Tamizharasi. His work in Raam won Ameer’s heart and the editor’s role in Paruthiveeran. Following this, he worked in Subramaniyapuram, a film that was well-appreciated. The film’s success and acceptance by film critics makes one feel that it will sure be noticed by the National Awards' judging panel, which means Raja might be on the dais of 55th National Awards again. So far, he has worked in 25 films in various South Indian languages.
Raja Mohammed's is a rare talent. We congratulate this talented editor on his achievement.
