Puratchi Thalaivan begins today

The teaser-trailer of Mayabimbam’s Puratchi Thalaivan has been released on January 17th, which is also MGR’s birthday. Starting from today, many eminent software and animation experts of the nation will work for Mayabimbam to complete this 3D animation film, which has legendary MGR as the hero.

The film, directed by Venkat Baboo and produced by Sridevi Rao for Mayabimbam, tries to capture the style and mannerisms of this great actor which made him so famous. There is something great and fantastic about MGR! Even today, when an MGR film is telecast on TV channels, it attracts not just his diehard fans from the bygone era, but also the next-gen audience! And when some of his films are digitalized and re-released, the help of police department is required to control the mad crowd! Truly, MGR’s charisma transcends time! Made by Mayabimbam – which produced Inimey Naangathan V4, the first indigenously made 3D animation film of Tamil Nadu – Puratchi Thalaivan will make sure that the magic of MGR is carried on to kids of the coming generations.
