Purampokku is directed by S.P. Jananathan and stars Arya, Vijay Sethupathi, Karthika and Shaam in lead roles. The team is currently shooting on a large prison set erected on the outskirts of Chennai.
On August 15, the teaser of the film was unveiled as the director considered it as the relevant day to release it. The teaser showed some extraordinary visuals of Arya and Karthika Nair.
The director has promised that the subsequent teasers will tell about Vijay Sethupathi’s role and the theme of the film.
