Punjabi folk number in Chikku-Bukku?

The Colonial Cousins' music for Modhi Vilayadu receivedencouraging response, and they have started working on their second venture Chikku-Bukku, which stars Arya and Shriya in the lead. According to latest news, the musical duo of Hariharan and Leslie Lewis plan on having a Punjabi folk number with singers originally from Amritsar, Punjab.

The Colonial Cousins continue to make themselves popular by constantly experimenting with different genres of music. Hariharan, who has his roots in classical music, and Leslie Lewis, who is known for his fusion styles, have composed some delightful numbers for Saran's Modhi Vilayadu. Hariharan, an established ghazal and playback singer, said music should transcend boundaries and should be different.

Chikku-Bukku, also starring Santhanam, Jagan and Preethika in a significant role, is directed by Manikandan (who was assistant to late director Jeeva) and produced by Mediaone Global Entertainment.
