Prithviraj injured while shooting

Popular Tamil-Malayalam actor Prithviraj, known for acting in action sequences without any dupes, was injured during the shooting of Amal Neerad-directed Anwar (Malayalam) that deals with terrorism and involves several action sequences.

Prithviraj was reportedly admitted to a private hospital, from where he was discharged soon after. How the accident occurred is not known. It is noteworthy that megastar Mammootty also had a narrow escape from a major accident while shooting for Amal Neerad's debut movie Big B.

Produced by Celebs and Red carpet, Anwar will resume its shooting in a few days. Anwar, starring Mamta Mohandas as the heroine, is the story of an educated young man who is forced to become a terrorist and has plenty of action sequences.
