Prasanna in Siddharth’s Bale Pandiya

Siddharth, who owns Mithra Media and is quite famous in the tinseltown, has turned into a film director! He will soon direct Prasanna in Bale Pandiya. The film's title has been borrowed from the yesteryear classic which starred Sivaji and M.R. Radha. A very happy Siddharth, who realized his longstanding dream of directing a film, made this announcement to the media today and promised to bring more updates on his project soon. The film's shooting will begin shortly and it will hit the screens in the middle of 2009.

Meanwhile, with one more film added to his career, Prasanna is slowly gaining an entry into the top-rung of Kollywood heroes. After giving superb performances in the smash hit Anjaathe and the hit film Sadhu Miranda, he became busy with Achamundu Achamundu (which will hit the screens soon) and Naikutty. Recently, S.P.B. Charan selected him as the hero of his forthcoming film Naanayam. And now, he bags a very good role in Bale Pandiya.

Well, there is also a rumour in the industry which says that Kadhalikka Neramillai will be remade soon and Prasanna will reprise Ravichandran’s role in it! That should do a world of good to his image as Kadhaikka Neramillai is one of the Tamil film industry’s biggest successes.
