Prabhu in Kannada film
Renowned actor Prabhu, the dimple-chinned and favourite hero of the 80s and 90s, will act in a Kannada film for the first time in his life. Titled Boss, this film will be directed by Kollywood director R. Raghuraj with Prabhu in the role of a CBI officer. Recently, a few scenes involving Prabhu were shot in Bangalore.
Kannada hero Tharshan and Kerala beauty Navya Nair (of Raman Thediya Seethai fame) are in the lead roles. Prabhu will pair up with Kannada actress Sangeetha. The most surprising thing is that Prabhu will dub for himself!
Apart from this film, Prabhu also plays prominent roles in Mani Ratnam’s Ashokavanam, Dr. Mohan’s Malai Malai (Arun Vijay), K.V. Anand’s Ayan and Susi Ganesan’s Kanthaswamy (Vikram). His recent release A Aa E Ee is doing well throughout the state.
