South India's leading choreographer-actor-director Prabhu Deva, also known as India’s Michel Jackson, will perform live at the grand opening ceremony of Indian Premier League 2012 (Season 5) on April 3 in Chennai.
Sources said that the star along with Bollywood actors Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra will shake legs to a medley of his super hit songs from Tamil and Hindi for a selected audience. Notably, this year's IPL opening function will not take place at a stadium like before. Amitabh Bachchan will be the presenter of the show and it promises to be a star-studded affair.
Season 5 of the IPL will feature 76 matches, over a period of 54 days in the month of April and May. Total of nine teams are participating in the cricket league.
