Actress Nayanthara and director-actor-choreographer Prabhu Deva, who have been in a relationship for more than three years and are expected to get married in near future, have decided to part ways, a source close to the couple said.
According to the source, the two decided to call it quits a few weeks back. It was as a result of the recent break-up that Nayantara decided to return to films, it further added.
After the marriage, the actress wanted to settle down as a homebird and decided not to sign on any more new movies even at the pick of her career, but over recent months, all was not well between the couple, the source said. Notably, a few months back, Prabhu Deva issued a press statement stating that he'd get married to the actress in the near future.
