Poonam picky about glamour roles

In their debut movies, actresses used to appear in very ‘homely’ roles, dressed very modestly. Today, things have changed. We have girls ready to sport bikini tops and hot pants from the very start! But one actress who has eluded the Glamour call, is Poonam Bajwa. She does have a few inhibitions to go glam, but they do not rule out the possibility of her ever doing one.

“The movies�I have done so far did not require glamour. The roles I did were�not too glamorous. I am not averse or opposed to the idea of wearing glamorous clothes. If the part demands it, I will do it. Then too, I know my limits. I will not wear clothes that are vulgar – that will make the women in the audience squirm in their seats. Eventually, when I get married and have kids, I want to be able to watch my movies with them,” explains the actress, who is awaiting the release of Kacheri Aarambam in which she stars with Jiiva.
