Poonam Kaur out of Thriller

Model-turned-actress Poonam Kaur, who was to play Prithviraj’s heroine in director B. Unnikrishnan's Thriller, has been removed from the role, after the makers' effort to tutor her to give the right lip movement failed.

According to sources, the former Miss Andhra Pradesh, known for her dancing skills in Telugu and Tamil films, could not follow basic lip sync instructions and say even essential Malayalam words. It is heard that Bangalore based actress Katherine Theresa will replace Poonam and will join the sets in Thiruvananthapuram.

Thriller is a suspense thriller and is based on Paul Muthoot murder case, and the heroine has a crucial role. Acclaimed playback singer-actor Mamta Mohandas will lend her voice to a song for Thriller, besides making a cameo�appearance.
