The team is shooting for a fight sequence in Karaikudi. Apparently, this place is close to Vishal's heart as the bus fight in his film Sandakozhi was shot at the same place nine years back. Vishal became nostalgic and posted about it on his social networking site.
The shooting of Poojai is making brisk progress and is expected to be released for this Diwali. Composer Yuvanshankar Raja is scoring the music for this film.
