Pokkisham almost complete

Cheran, the three-time National Award winning actor-director has almost completed the shooting of his latest film Pokkisham. Cheran is famous for directing culturally strong films which stand out for realistic characterizations and the social messages they convey.

The unit of Pokkisham was in Calcutta for a month to shoot some portions of the film and has now returned to Chennai. Now, the latest buzz is that Cheran is on the lookout for a yesteryear actress to film some scenes about the character’s early life. Cheran has reportedly approached Radha, but she is said to have rejected the offer forcing the director to search for another actress. Radha was one of the top heroines in Tamil in the 80’s.

Pokkisham features Padmapriya as Cheran’s heroine.
