It will be an eye-opener in so many ways,” says Peraanmai hero Jayam Ravi. “Director Jananathan has a clear and sensible social perspective. The film has accommodated politics, adventure and social angst in its storyline. It will also toss some significant questions at the affluent populace. But all these have been wrapped within the limits of mass entertainment. For me, who has been doing soft, romantic roles, Peraanami’s forest officer character will be a turning point in my career,” says Ravi.
