Pazhassi Raja in Fukuoka Film Festival

Malayalam superstar Mammootty's Hariharan-directed magnum opus Pazhassi Raja, which swept eight awards at the Kerala State Film Awards 2009, including best director, will be screened at the competition section of the upcoming Fukuoka International Film Festival starting from September 17.

Pazhassi Raja, released in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, is the only Indian movie to have been selected to this year's Fukuoka Film Festival to be held in Fukuoka, Japan.
