Parvathi Menon returns to Kannada

Her last release in Kannada was the Puneeth Rajkumar starrer Milana. And now, Parvathi Menon will be seen once again in Sandalwood. She is currently working in Male Barali Manju Erali directed by Jai Jagadish, starring Srinagar Kitty and Nag Kiran.

So why did Parvathi stay away from Kannada films for the last two years? The actress says that she is very choosy about her work and picks only roles that suit her. She is not bothered about star and banner; for her, the most important thing is a good film and good role. Coincidentally, this role came to her through Vijayalakshmi, the director of Milana.

Parvathi meantime dabbled in Tamil cinema. Her debut Tamil film Poo, directed by Sasi, won her a lot of critical acclaim. The movie was produced by Moser Baer and had Srikanth as her hero.
