Paruthiveeran is a book now

Paruthiveeran hogged the limelight when it bagged a National Award and garnered the entire nation’s attention; it also won the Oslan award for the best film. The script of Paruthiveeran has now been converted into a book by director Ameer at the request of its aficionados and aspiring filmmakers. The book, which also includes colour stills from the film, could well be a guide to aspiring filmmakers and students of film schools. It might even be included as reference material in film schools across the state. Besides, it is definitely a collector's item for Paruthiveeran aficionados.

Speaking on the film’s success, director Ameer said, “When I set off making this film, I never expected this kind of response, let alone releasing a book containing the film script.”
