Padmapriya’s second chance in Telugu

Popular Malayalam-Tamil actress Padmapriya has all reasons to be extremely happy these days!

Her recent magnum opus Pazhassi Raja, in which she plays Neeli (leader of the Kurichya women warriors), turned out to be a "once in a lifetime" project in her career and a landmark in the history of Malayalam cinema in terms of box office records and cinematic values.

Followed by the success of Pazhassi Raja, Padmapriya is currently flooded with offers from all corners including Bollywood. According to latest reports, the actress has been approached by popular Telugu director K. Viswanath as well to star opposite Allari Naresh in Samudram.

If these reports are to be believed, the actress has accepted and report for shooting soon. Notably, Padmapriya debuted in films with a Telugu flop titled Seenu Vasanthi Lakshmi. Let's hope the actress would make it big in Telugu this time! More details about Samudram are awaited.
