No ban for Vijayakanth’s Sudesi

The High court has declared that Sudesi is free of all bans, and may be released without any hindrance. The Tamil Nadu Graduates' and Teacher’s association had filed a petition against Vijayakanth’s Sudesi. They had stated that the film contained scenes that spoilt the reputation of teachers and government employees. Thus they demanded the film to be banned. The judge A.P. Shah declared that no bans could be put up on this film and the case is thus dismissed.
