Neetu learning Tamil for Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai

Neetu Chandra was appreciated for her acting in Yaavarum Nalam (13B in Hindi) opposite Madhavan. Many expected her to go on a local signing spree, but the lady quietly packed her bags and rushed to Mumbai. Now back in Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai, the sprightly girl spoke her mind.

What made her choose TVP? She was bowled over by the script, even if it meant sharing screen space with two other heroines. The many scripts Neetu had seen before TVP did not excite her. About her role, she says the role of a rich spoilt girl living life on her own terms suited her to a T.

"Not everyday will you get to do a character at its glamorous best with a blonde hairdo," says Neetu, pleased with the role.

Aware that she has to get her diction right to do justice to her characters, Neetu is already learning Tamil (not vry easy, she says!) and is confident of dubbing her own lines in TVP. What Neetu would like is that script writers pen her lines keeping her limited Tamil vocabulary in mind!
