Nayantara fans stall Thiruna shooting

Nayantara is considered the reigning queen of Kollywood, because she has fans not just in big cities, but even in the smallest villages. She is one hot babe, and it's no wonder her fans worship her. This cool-headed babe has never created a ruckus and halted shooting for any of her movies. But her fans did just that, and that too in a movie in which Nayan does not even play a part! Wondering how?

Well, Thiruna, in the direction of debutante Ravi, is being produced under the Universal Movie Makers banner. Ravi has worked under several noted directors in Kollywood; he becomes a full-fledged independant director with Thiruna that stars debutant Subash, a student of Hotel Management. According to the script, the hero and his uncle (played by Bose Venkat), are naive village folk who are crazy about actress Nayantara. They decided to start a fan club for her in their village. In keeping with this script, the Thiruna team put up several huge cutouts of the actress in the Anumanthai, the village in which the shooting is taking place. People of the village however got the impression that Nayantara was visiting Anumanthai to actually inaugurate her fan club and they arrived in droves at the shooting spot. It took almost three hours to contain the crowd and explain to them that she was not coming, that this was just a scene in the movie! Their disappointment cannot be expressed in mere words (sob, sob).
